Editors' Notes: July 2006

Welcome back! We made it through our first month here in The Green Room, and are happy to bring you issue #2. It's been a whirlwind of a month, with making contacts and writing new material and seeing a few shows. With luck, though, we're just going to get busier from here, and we're loving every minute!

I think you'll find that this issue has a lot more content and weight to it than did our debut. Now that we have a better idea of what we're doing, it all flows a little more smoothly. The first week of June brought a total overhaul of the website, the addition of Google ads, and a number of smaller changes that might not be so obvious. But once those big things were taken care of, we were able to move forward knowing that everything was set up the way we wanted it, and the way our first few readers had suggested.

This month, in addition to new content, we are also pleased to announce the debut of the much-anticipated comic which was missing from the first issue: Tree-Hugging Freaks. We have also started to branch out through the Internet, with the use of message boards and blogging communities. And finally, we have set up shop at CafePress, so you can buy Green Room merchandise as a way of spreading our message further.

I hope you'll enjoy this issue as much as - or more than - the first one. As always, we welcome your feedback, and encourage your support. Whether you are make a donation, submit material to our Creative Corner, or simply tell people about us, you are making a difference, and helping spread awareness of the causes for which we stand.
