Editor's Notes

This month's BNL Triple Feature was a huge deal for us. Not only are BNL a major player in both environmentalism and music, but they're also a longtime favorite of ours. As such, when the opportunity to go to their show last month (just a day after the previous issue date!) came along, we jumped. It was fortunate that the second half of their recent double-album (Barenaked Ladies are Men) was released around that time as well. For Oliver to also have the chance to interview their keyboardist by phone one afternoon was nothing short of amazing, as opportunities go.

All that said, it's been a challenging month, as well. Not only did we have the added pressure of working with a larger artist, but we faced a number of obstacles, difficulties, and delays in our personal lives as well. Still, here we are, and I think we've put together a great issue for you. In a way, it means all the more to know that we met our goals in the face of such a tumultuous month as was February.

As we come into spring, we're looking forward to turning down the heat and opening windows, to longer days and warmer weather. There will be more chances to walk rather than drive, to use natural light instead of electric, and to find outdoor entertainment instead of being cooped up inside!

As always, you can help our efforts by spreading the word and giving out our address, by donating to our site, and most importantly by making your own small changes.

Let's make this spring Green, in as many ways as we can!
